Nope, not for us (tricked you!) but for Jesse's family...we are so happy for them! What a special treat to meet little Nelson and have some time with his family.

I'm so sad...this is the only picture of me holding Nelson! Maybe next time his tummy troubles won't be so upsetting to him.

our Gingerbread Village

Gingerbread Baby is one of our favorite winter books. The boys enjoyed decorating their own gingerbread houses and we ended up with a delightful gingerbread village!

Concentration Required

We enjoyed the outdoors at a nearby park with Jesse & his Mom on Wednesday. No jackets or hats required! The boys took their digging jobs quite seriously.

Convention Days

Words don't express the feeling that one has after convention. Our little cups are running over and we're so thankful for what convention does for our hearts & souls. Now to apply those things that we heard..

Good Buddies

Our boys did pretty well at convention. Benjamin took a nap in almost every afternoon meeting, so that he helped him get thru the long days. Trevin still wakes up frequently, but we were able to get him back to sleep & he had good naps most days. After a full morning at clean up today and doing laundry here, we're tired but happy!

Our Weekend

-fun times with special friends Paula, Paul, Jesse & Lori and the twins
-getting caught up on laundry
-1st bath for Trevin
-1st workday at the soggy convention grounds (the mud didn't stop Jesse and Benjamin from having a grand time together)
-Trevin meets great grandma Burnette and enjoys her lap all morning long
-1st Sun am mtg (Trevin slept thru it all)
-planning Benjamin's 4th birthday

Just Jesse

Benjamin & I took a quick trip south to see Jesse & parents. What a fun time we had. The boys were nonstop together & were sad to say goodbye when we had to leave.10 reasons why we had a grand time...

1. Riding bikes at night with flashlights taped to the front as headlights
2. Jumping in mud puddles
3. Playing tractors
4. Eating delicious food - like the brisket Paul had cooked in the smoker
5. Swings & a fort
6. Lots of laughs
7. Chasing the kitty (Benjamin told me, "When I pull the kitty's tale, the kitty says Meow! haa, haa, haa - I tried to explain that it wasn't very nice to do that. Fortunately their cat is very tolerant.)
8. Paying only $1.78/gallon to fill up our gas tank
9. Visiting their local candle shop - yummm, it always smells so delicious
10. Good garage sales!

Convention Memories

It is hard to find words to describe our days at convention. We loved the separation, rest, & food for our souls.
