In case you are wondering...

what we've been doing around here...we're busy cleaning!
Cleaning up the boys (fortunately Benjamin can do that himself for the most part),
Cleaning up the messes,
Cleaning up the box of crackers he spilled all over the tile [I keep forgetting Trevin can reach things on the counter now]
Cleaning the floors,
Cleaning the clothes.

It really seems endless and we only have 2 kids! We're getting a dose of reality with child #2. I don't ever remember scrubbing my floors like this when Benjamin was little. Maybe I purposely forgot all that!

Here's proof of the mess...

Could you guess one of his new words for the week?? HAT! He said it promptly as he put the bowl on his head.

Oh well, life is good even if it is a bit messy!

Bathtime Buddies

Our boys would play in the bathtub all day long if we let them! It was a special treat this evening for them to enjoy the masterbath tub.

happy boys

"Oh, mommy, he just knocked down my tower of blocks!"
{Somehow it is always tragic...even though little brother tries to help like this over & over}

I just love his sweet smiles.

We hearby announce that Trevin is no longer bald. His hair is quite light & there is even more than this picture shows. He loves to snatch my comb when I'm not looking & use it on himself.

Next time we'll have to show you what happens in the tub after Trevin gets out...Benjamin loves trying out his snorkel & mask, etc. So fun!

a new year & new resolutions...

Happy New Year to our blog readers!

So...I've been thinking about my New Year's resolutions.

I need to write them down, look at them often, & put them into action. I love this free printable and wanted to share it with you so you could use it too.

One resolution on my list: to be more patient & content.

School Break

Benjamin's 2 week break during the holidays was so relaxing. We had lots of fun with cousins & enjoyed going to the park a few times. It was nice to stay home, relax, catch up & do some organizing around the house. Trevin is fascinated with the vacuum and I have to hide it so he won't mess with the attachments & the cord. Silly boy!
