Convention Days

Words don't express the feeling that one has after convention. Our little cups are running over and we're so thankful for what convention does for our hearts & souls. Now to apply those things that we heard..

Our boys did pretty well at convention. Benjamin took a nap in almost every afternoon meeting, so that he helped him get thru the long days. Trevin still wakes up frequently, but we were able to get him back to sleep & he had good naps most days. After a full morning at clean up today and doing laundry here, we're tired but happy!

All in a Week

Visiting cousins, playing miniature golf, cleaning house (it must be my nesting phase!), swimming, touring the newly expanded L&D wing of the hospital - are just a few things that we did this week. No wonder I'm tired!

In the gardens at the hospital, Benjamin was looking for fish in the water. Good thing we didn't see any, otherwise Benjamin would be wanting to bring his fishing pole the next time we go to the hospital! Benjamin loved seeing the newborns in the nursery. He thought they had "cute tummies". This wing is huge - 29 L&D suites and it is beautiful! Best of all, they seem very accommodating to follow your delivery preferences/birth plan, etc. Yeah!!

Cousins

It was fun to see Dale & Jill's kids this past week. Drake & Skye are fun cousins. Benjamin knows that Drake "lives too far away" - which means we don't get to see him very often. We sure are glad when they come to TX for a visit.

Cousins

We met up with the Klepzig cousins today at Grandma & Grandpa's. Benjamin was especially happy to see Drake. Since Drake's house is "too far away", it is so nice we can see them when they visit TX. Drake "played" the piano and the others got hymn books to sing along. It was quite cute.
