Fresh Produce

Despite everything against it (ie the heat, drought & my pregnancy), our garden has continued to flourish this summer. I am simply amazed. Benjamin & Russell helped me harvest beans this weekend. We still have lots of tomatoes & peppers too.

Every year I wish we had a bigger garden! Glad yours is doing so well...it's such a treat to really have FRESH produce.

I admire all of you who grow and keep a garden and reap the benefits. One of the benefits is your kids sharing and learning in the experience.

I tried sending this in an e-mail to you but for some reason it won't go through...so here's a super long "comment". ;)

Love the garden by the way - I miss ours this year!

Hey there Andrea. Thanks for the compliment - I do love to have fun with all the cool digital stuff out there. The web site where I've gotten my fonts is http://www.1001freefonts.com/. Another cool site I happened upon is http://www.kevinandamanda.com/. You can submit a sample of your handwriting and she'll create a font for you out of that. I haven't tried it yet, but I'd like to some day. I take it you're designing your own announcements? Do you already know where you're going to get them printed? I use White House Custom Color http://www.whcc.com/. They do a GREAT job and turn around time is awesome. I designed a birth announcement for a lady David works with a few weeks ago - I placed my order at 11:30 Wed. night (almost midnight!) and the announcements were on my doorstep Friday afternoon. They are a professional lab and the quality is great. You must become an official client of theirs to be able to order from them - but it's really easy to do. If you're interested in ordering from them but don't want to go through the process of becoming a client right now (I know you're busy with other things with baby #2 on his way!) I would be glad to do it for you and have the announcements sent directly to you. Just wanted to through that offer out there. Enjoy your time with Benjamin until Baby Boy #2 gets here - can't wait to hear when the little one makes his grand entrance! ;)
