We camped at Bastrop State Park (Lost Pines) this weekend.
- Great times with our friends - Polly, Paul & Jesse
- No mosquitoes(!)
- Beautiful weather
- Easy hiking for the boys with fresh blackberry snacks along the way
- Fun fishing in the little lake & we even caught a few bass
- Nice campsites & it felt like we were the only ones there under the shade of the huge pines
We're ready to go again!

How fun! We live right here and we've never gone camping...it's crazy how you overlook things to do in your own backyard! Give us a shout next time you all head out.
I'm sure Kekoa and Gavyn are someday going to wish they'd been born into your family. Craig and I are NOT campers. It looks like a good time, though.
