Here are a list of informative websites regarding alternative medicine, traditional medicine & child development. I haven't had a chance to check them out thoroughly yet, but they look pretty good.

3 weeks old!

Trevin is 3 weeks old today. That means I've survived 3 weeks of interrupted sleeping at night & I actually don't feel so bad. I do moan in the morning about being tired, but fortunately Benjamin lets me sleep in a bit after he has already woken up. I'm thankful he plays so well by himself. I'm hoping Trevin's 'newborn' nasal congestion goes away soon. He certainly doesn't like the saline drops I have to give him at night. Other than that, we're doing well.

Happy 4th Birthday Benjamin

Wow...where does the time go??? Here are pictures of our big boy enjoying his early birthday celebration after Wed night mtg. We'll celebrate a bit more tonight at the conv grounds with the workers & Grandma Burnette. Thanks to so many who have made this boy's day special today from birthday calls to birthday cards/gifts. He feels very special today & keeps reminding me that he is 4 now.

We are enjoying every moment with our boys. It is a wonderful feeling to hold a newborn again...especially one who is so content and mellow (except when hungry!)

It's Labor Day!

We have great news to share - our baby made his grand entrance on Labor Day. Quite appropriate I would say. My first contraction began at 12:45am this morning and he was delivered at 2:41am! Here are the stats:

weight: 7 lbs, 4 oz
length: 19 1/2 inches long
name: Trevin Russell Harris

Benjamin thinks that he is "very cute & little" and we agree. We are so happy to finally meet our little boy. He looks very similar to Benjamin's newborn photos. Pictures to follow soon.

How do you catch a bus?

Benjamin has been thinking about his friends & cousins going back to school this week. One of our conversations went like this...

B: "Mommy, do you think Lana is going to catch the bus this morning
A: "Yes, she is probably on the bus right now heading to school."
B: "Did she catch the bus with a net?"

Hmmm...our English language can be a bit confusing at times!
