Before Rachel left for special meeting rounds, we helped her celebrate the big *20* a bit early. The boys helped me decorate the table & make cards for her.
The boys made a quick home delivery to their special friend Hannah...after she injured her finger. Hopefully she'll make a speedy recovery so she can resume playing her beautiful harp!
We find random notes around the house, at the table, on the floor by our master bedroom door (written at night when someone should be sleeping...) Pretty sweet, I must admit.

Good times with Grandpa Larry
Despite Benjamin getting a 24 fever/virus during Grandpa Larry's visit to see us at the end of February - we had so, so much fun with him...checking out Austin's new aquarium, eating BBQ at the County Line, Mount Bonell, checking out campground sites around Lake Georgetown, & more. It was just too short!
On a side note, I survived working a full 4 weeks (5 hours/day) for my dear friend Trish...I loved it, but it added another dimension to life that I hadn't experienced much with kiddos. Looking forward to helping fill in for my other PT friends...but for shorter periods of time.

January 2014
Violins! It was so fun to watch these cousins play their violin together...while Auntie Amy accompanied them on the piano. We'll be able to enjoy more impromptu playing sessions soon!
The highly anticipated grand opening of Whole Foods was a fun outing for us in January. Nana accompanied us while we toured & tasted samples. Yum. The florist gave Trevin his own Yellow Rose. Sniff, Sniff.
Ready or not, Trevin started preschool in January. Looking back it was a good thing that it turned out to be a last minute decision. There was no chance for me to dread the day, the hour, the moment. With that said, he is absolutely thrilled with his little class & teacher. Russell has mainly been dropping him off which has helped in this transition. He'd probably be more clingly to me. So...we've entered into a new phase, but it is working great for us. I love having my afternoons with him while being able to work in the morning.
