Anticipating a harvest...

Upon reflecting on the events of this week, I've been thinking about the harvest ~ the harvest/result of our life here on earth. There are so many examples in nature that teach us important lessons. (ie the heat of the summer - helping to ripen & sweeten the fruit before it is harvested) It has been good for me to work in our garden this week...to see the hope of a harvest, to remove weeds & stones, & teach our boy about seeds & life coming out of a seed that falls into the ground. I love our little garden...

Our first tomato
Lettuce
Fajita bell peppper
Blooms on the cantaloupe
an abundance of lemons on our tree

Oh my! Around these parts, people are just now putting their gardens in ... it is good to see the hope of the harvest somewhere!(:

Yeah, same here. We can't set plants out until the end of May because of danger of frost. I do apprecaite the spiritual picture too.

Wow! Love to see the pictures of your growing things. It does give us hope up North. :)

And thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. It's even more lovely to see the fruits from a life lived for God. But oh so hard to experience natural separation here on this earth.

Enjoy your week and eat some fresh lettuce for us! ;)

I'm so jealous! I just barely got things planted last weekend, and I felt like we were ahead of the game compared to everyone in Montana :) Looks like you have some beautiful healthy plants. Bon appetite!

Thinking of your family at this time. Hard but thankful for precious memories.
Love the pictures of your garden. Always neat to see things first starting to grow.
