Half Way to 7!
Today Benjamin is 3 1/2!
He still...
He still...
- loves dogs (hence his gift ~ a puzzle I found today at a garage sale for 50 cents)
- asks to read stories together
- stays dry all night long
- finds outdoor playtime great fun
- hates anything flying around his head (even if it is a gnat, it's called a bee!!!)
- loves to wear his sunglasses
- loves meeting & will request to play mtg with me
- thinks Nana & Papa's house is the best place to be
- has a smile that melts my heart
In the past 6 months, he...
- has a new fascination with Donald Duck
- loves his violin group lessons
- acts out the stories we read - with his trains or little character toys (having full conversations between characters)
- wants to go to Austin Texas to see Daddy
- whispers to me that he wants to have his turn to pray or speak in meeting
- has reminded us that he remembers many little details from the past (ie Daddy killed a spider in our trailer at convention time - that was back in October)
- has reminded us that he would like a Baby Morgan (if you haven't met her, she is a pretty special little girl - his youngest 1st cousin on Russell's side of the family)
- is having difficulty falling asleep at night
- gives us many reasons to laugh & be thankful

It's Spring!
While oak & cedar allergies could be keeping us inside during this time of year, we are happily playing outside as much as possible. Thanks to Zyrtec. We are fortunate to live close to quite a few parks, so we have been exploring each one. Benjamin loves the park with the "diggers". I love the brilliant green buds on the trees, the little bluebonnets popping up, little sprigs of life shooting up in the garden, red bud trees in all their glory. Spring has sprung!

Special Meeting Company
We're having special days of fellowship & company this week. Benjamin thoroughly enjoyed their loving attention & was eager to help them with their packing & sorting.
Satuday Group Lesson
On Saturday mornings, Benjamin has a group violin lesson. It is such a fun time for him with the other kids & he always looks forward to going.
Performing their bow song with their eyes closed. Benjamin was a little behind in the timing hence his bow is down when it should be been up. It is a challenge for him to keep up with those girls!
Their teacher, Miss Angela, looking at their bow holds. She puts finger puppets on the top of their bows for fun - Benjamin always chooses the snowman puppet.

What He Says...
Some things Benjamin has said lately that I don't want to forget...
- "Time to speak to God" - when we are playing meeting together & it is testimony time.
- "Ooops, I missed the wrong way" (meaning, I made a mistake)
- Words he has been using a lot lately - actually, rambunctious, either
- What instrument do you play, Benjamin? His answer: A real instrument (while pointing to his little violin)
- If B is referring to something in the past, he usually says it happened "yesterday or yester time"
- He was trying to sing the song "One Little Candle" today but his version is "One Little Camel"
- He called pullups, "pickups"
I'll have to add more as I think of others...

Meeting Bob
It was an exciting moment for Benjamin to finally see Bob the Builder. Even more fun was getting to experience it with his 2 good buddies, Mason & Chase. Since the performance, Benjamin has been "weecycling" and "collecting trash" - the storyline was about Bob building a recycling center, wind turbines, etc. So, he learned something new & has a special interest in trash now!
