Trying new things...

Trevin is finishing up kindergarten with some fun projects...here is his robot dog.
Description:  The robot takes pictures with its collar camera & then you can see the pictures on your computer."  He came up with this idea all by himself.  I like his originality.

He's also been working hard on his reading fluency & has made great strides recently.
He came home with some new books to try!
Trevin attended his first sign language class last night.  What a great kid to try something new.  He learned lots & was excited to share it when we got home.  We have a new deaf friend who comes to our meetings.  We're learning to communicate with her!

Where are we?

"Papa, please tell us where we are."

Such good pondering for my heart today.
Where am I in this journey of life?
At the beginning, the middle or the end?
None of us know for sure.

What really matters is that I'm close to Him.
The One who lends us strength,
The One who walks beside us through every valley, every plain, & every mountain experience.

What really matters is that I'm following the one who knows the way.
The way that leads to life.
The way that leads us home.

What really matters is that I'm safe to follow.

Happy Birthday to the twins

Happy Birthday Emma & Jaxon!  So fun to get to celebrate with Denio cousins.  It was a fun party with lots of Mickey Mouse ears & treats.  I loved watching them tasting their smash cakes & taking in everything.

Free!

In April we enjoyed a few 'free' games.  Ironically we got wet both times.  Rain & more rain!  It was fun to take the boys to our first UT Orange & White Scrimmage game.  Benjamin scored us free baseball tickets to see the Round Rock Express because of reading 10+ Bluebonnet books this year.  Yay!

Fun & wet times.
