Yosemite National Park

These pictures in no way capture the immensity & beauty of this amazing place.  One fantastic aspect of this national park is being able to see these landmark structures from high above as well as from down below in the valley floor.  The perspectives are very different & no experience is complete without seeing this.  I loved witnessing the boys excitement in seeing this for the very first time.  We can't wait to go again.

More from Lake Tahoe

The boys discovered the joy of rock climbing.  They can attest that they are better climbers than their mother as I'm the only one that ended up with a wet shoe & a rather cold foot.

A quick game of frisbee golf was on the agenda before we left Monday morning.

Lake Tahoe...taking in the beauty

During Spring Break we spent the weekend with Uncle Dale.  I can not imagine living on the lake & having views like these everyday.  I was so happy to get to take my boys here.

2015 Spring Break Trip: Oakland

Lovely Oakland....it gets overlooked by many people.  We had a fabulous time - fantastic restaurants, great coffee, private tour of the 'floating White House', fun medium sized zoo with a skytram from which you can see the bay, fresh goodies from a local farmers market, etc.  Yes, Lonely Planet rates this as one of the top 2015 destinations.  Next up:  Lake Tahoe
